Forman High School to Hold Closing Exercises Next Week
Plans are set for the Forman Senior High School baccalaureate on Sunday May 25 and graduation on Wednesday May 28. Eighteen seniors are eligible for diplomas, with addresses by Rev. Paul N. Rager and Rev. Joseph Hobbs. Awards include Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Outstanding Student, and seven area honors plus several outside prizes. Public invited.

Poppy Day Observance Promotes Memorial Poppy Sale
On Saturday May 24 citizens are urged to buy and wear memorial poppies to honor fallen service members from World War I II the Korean conflict and today. The American Legion Auxiliary Hill Palmer Post Jacksonville unit plans to sell 700 poppies made by disabled veterans all day Saturday.
