Flora Zimmerman, longtime Manito resident and former school board director, died in Oakland California on March 18. She was born May 28 1869 in Manito and taught at the Manito Grade School. Survived by a granddaughter and great grandchildren, funeral held in Oakland.

Forman High students won twenty medals at the District Music Contests in Chillicothe.
