William E Vale Dies At Pekin Hospital
William E Vale of Manito died at Pekin Hospital at 9 p m Wednesday after a months long illness. Born March 17 1898 in Dillon Township Tazewell County he was married to Margarette Van Tine on October 22 1921. Surviving are his widow two sons and four daughters two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services set for 2 p m Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev Paul N Rager officiating. Burial at Meadow Lawn Cemetery.

Plans are set for a July 4 celebration on the American Legion lawn in Manito hosted by Hill Palmer Post 561 and Auxiliary.
