Fox Hunts Net Six Foxes in Forest City Area
A fox hunting event near Forest City and nearby areas drew about 120 men on Saturday January 14. Seven drives covered the St Johns Lutheran church vicinity with lunch served by church ladies. Six foxes were felled and bounty proceeds go to the March of Dimes. A follow up hunt is planned for January 28 with same meeting spot and lunch arrangements.

Louis Pfeiffer, 56, of Route 119, remains in serious condition at Proctor hospital Peoria after a car rear ended a gasoline truck on Route 10 last Thursday.
