Rites Held for Mrs Curtis in Pekin Funeral Home

Funeral services for Ima Jane Lower Curtis 68 were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Preston funeral home with Rev. E. L. Hanes officiating and Glendale Memorial Gardens as the burial site. Born in Shelby Nebraska December 19 1881 she moved to San Jose in 1901 and married James Garfield Curtis in 1903. survivors include two daughters Ruth Frampton Pekin and Lera Hawkins Manito along with brothers Louis Lower Pekin and John Lower East Peoria and a sister Mrs Lexie Ingersol South Pekin. James Curtis and Louis Curtis preceded her in death. She resided in Pekin 37 years and was active in the Christian church and Pekin Union Mission Mothers home class.
