History Teacher and Coach Hired for Ferman High School
Mr. Eklund, named history teacher and coach at Ferman High, brings strong scholastic and athletic credentials. A Knox ville High School valedictorian and former class president, he played football basketball and track, captained the basketball team, and earned honors in college clubs. He served in the Marine Corps electronics program, repaired radios, and completed undergraduate work in Normal, planning a Masters by August 1956. He is married with a 17 month old son Michael. his wife teaches health and physical education in Bloomington Illinois. The Eklund family plans to move to Manila after summer school.

Baptism Honors Four Generations at St. Patrick’s Havana
