Show ribbons to be purchased via NSW Council procurement. The President announced new subcommittees, and the group debated broadcasting issues.

Red Cross Nursing Home at Hay History Note
The Red Cross Nursing Home at Hay began after the last war as a peace project by the local branch. The first home was in an old disused mill, later renamed and enlarged, housing mothering wives of service men and babies born in the area. Recent improvements include blood transfusion facilities and water supply amid rising costs, with the village relying on a small government subsidy and annual fundraising by the Hay branch to maintain upkeep. Matron R A Sweeney, Army officer, has led the home for over twenty years with the committee praising her devotion.
