August hospital statistics at Manilla Board meeting
The secretary reported an average daily hospital census of 11.9 in August the lowest in months. At month start 13 patients were present with 41 admissions bringing total to 54 treated. Discharges were 41 leaving 13 in hospital. Outpatients totaled 18 with 81 visits. Gifts were acknowledged to Mrs Sutherland Mrs Campbell Mr Jenner Mr Kenny Mr Pittman and Mr Lpekyer for fruits magazines eggs.

Fractured Arm After Fall At Upper Manilla
Mrs Clarrie Smith of Good View Upper Manilla fell Saturday morning and fractured a bone in her left arm at the shoulder. After medical attention she returned home as scientists work on the common cold.
