Spastic Week Planned by Manilla Mosman Centre
The Manilla Mosman Spastic Centre announces a Spastic Week to raise funds for a new Country childrens Hostel at Frenches Forest. It runs October 19 to 25 with events including boxing at Palais Theatre on Monday the 19th, a concert on Thursday the 22nd, a dance on Friday the 23rd, and a Night of Pun on Saturday. A monster barbecue and other town functions are to be arranged with further details to follow. The next Spastic Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday September 29 at the RSL club rooms.

Bank Manager Farewelled at Manilla Bowling Club
On Friday evening last an informal farewell honored Mr. B. I. Williams who departs Manilla for Bomballa soon. Williams has led the Manilla branch of the Commercial Banking Co of Sydney for almost three years, with about 37 friends attending the Bowling Club function. Chairman W. J. Byrnes praised his service to the club and Rotary, noting he mentored Bowling, Rotary, and club duties. Best wishes were extended for his new role.
