Manilla driver fined for driving under influence
Percy Green of North Manilla was fined £15 with costs for driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated at Manilla Court of Petty Sessions last Wednesday. He will lose his licence for 12 months. The case traced conflicting testimony about who drove the truck on November 3, 1951, with Constable Stanford testifying Green was the driver despite defenses that Fletcher drove.
