Obituary of George Coote A Manilla native dies at 78
Mr George Coote died at District Hospital on April 18 aged 78. A lifelong Manilla resident, he was son of the late John and Mrs Coote of Park Hall Upper Manilla. He married Minnie Hill in 1894 and farmed at Yellow Rock Rushes Creek and Upper Manilla before retiring to Glenboida Manilla in 1929. Survived by four sons and five daughters. grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial in Manilla churchyard after service at Holy Trinity Church conducted by Rev Duncombe.
