Red Cross Notes Manilla Appeal Day Results
Manilla Red Cross reports June 6 Appeal Day raised £142 5s 3d with £50 from badge sales and £92 5s 3d in stalls and donations. Prizes went to John Winter for cake and Mrs Ghys for macassins. thanks extended to supporters and volunteers aiding disaster relief and blood bank work.

CWA bids farewell to G G Love at monthly meeting
At the CWA monthly meeting last Friday Mrs G G Love was farewelled for her many activities. A bosy made by Mrs N Bowman and presented by Mrs W Bignall accompanied good wishes for the future. Mrs Love thanked members for their kindness. On Thursday June 26 an International Day event will be held in the CWA Rooms with Ceylon as the featured country. State executive Mrs Tucker, fresh from Ceylon, will speak aided by Mrs McDonougle of Gunnedah and will visit Mantilla the next day.

Jumble Sale To Benefit Scout Hall Fund
