Mandowa Shire Council Meeting Notes and Field Day Postponement
The Mandowa Shire Council met on Friday with President G. B. RK. Park in the chair. Dr. Park mourned the death of Mr. P M Bailey, a long-time employee, and sympathy was offered to his family. Ambulance Ball Draws Small Crowd At Memorial Hall
Between 250-275 attendees gathered Friday night for the Ambulance Ball in Memorial Hall to aid the Manilla Ambulance Service. The event opened late around 9:15 pm with remarks by Tamworth district and Manilla ambulance officials. Music by Pavy and Ms Philip, and the Ambulance Ladies Auxiliary received praise for supper arrangements.

Art Union to be drawn at 9 p m August 5th
