Southbrook Settlers Seek Council Action on Drainage Stock Route
A three member deputation from the Southbrook Settlers Association met the Municipal Council at its monthly session to press drainage improvements and define the stock route. They urged clearing gutters and gutters, better flow from the east, and South Street guttering. New State Referendum Debate Reaches Local Council

Appointment of Engineer Ati a special municipal meeting
The Manilla Municipal Council appointed Mr J. Q. Dunbar of Maxville NSW as electrical engineer. He will start on Monday March 2 after training with Tasmania’s Hydro Electric Commission.
