Manilla Anzac Day Service Draws Big Crowd
The dawn service at Memorial Hall marked Manilla’s first such event with about 70 onlookers and a total march of around 200 including ex servicemen, women, and youth groups. A.Duprez led, the Manilla Pipe Band played, wreaths were placed, and Rev. Duncombe urged duty and peace while recalling Gallipoli and Korea.
