Tar Paving Programme Faces Delays in Manilla
At Tuesday night’s council Tamworth City Council advised it cannot carry out tar scaling work in Manilla this year. The Municipal Council sought help to plan the second tar paving programme including Arthur Street from Strafford to Market, Market Street from Arthur Street to Manilla Street, and Rowan Street from Market to Court. Tenders will be called as soon as possible. completion by early June was contingent on Tamworth’s ability to do the job.
