County Court Set to Open With Heavy Docket

The county court will convene Monday with Judge J. J. Stewart presiding and Robert H. Roesch as clerk Sheriff M. H. Wyatt will manage prisoners and County Solicitor John B. Singeltary will prosecute. Many cases transferred from the circuit court will start the term, expected to be lengthy as the court aims to clear the docket. Celery Shipments From Manatee Exceed One Hundred Car Loads

The Manatee area shows rapid vegetable expansion with over 100 car loads of celery moved this season. Seaboard moved about 80 cars, rest by steamer, marking the heaviest celery shipment yet. Refrigeration kept most goods marketable though icing shortage caused some losses. prices were generally satisfactory for local truckers. Fresh seeds offered by Lloyd & Ov's.
