Manatee county Florida records detail March 1 1907 proceedings in Bradenton with chair J B Wyatt and members approving last minutes bonds for E Hitchings and F A Walpole, tax extensions urged, widow exemptions denied, and road and oyster petitions to be considered.
Mrs. Charles H. Stebbins hosted the Ely sian club at her East Manatee home with most members present. Target practice and guessing contests thrilled guests while Mrs. T. W. Yarbrough and Mrs. W. S. Clark won top prizes. Mrs. Roesch from Denver and her husband visit. her health improved after a voice loss.
Manatee residents push to reorganize the Manatee Cutlery plant as a corporation with expanded capital. Captain Davis offers his nearby real estate valued around four thousand dollars to secure the site and mobilize new machinery and buildings along Manatee avenue for a modernized cutlery factory.
Col A Watson of Bradentown, a respected local real estate agent, attends the Tuesday sale of Veteran City lots. He is impressed by developments in the progressive town and remarks on St. Petersburg friends and the city’s bright future for veterans.

Terra Ceia and Laurel schools granted 80 percent state aid. teachers reports audited. warrants totaling 2102.72 issued. Next meeting set for April 2 1907.
Atlanta March 11 Associated Press reports President W A Garrett of Seaboard Air Line warned that railroad finances are at a danger point due to legislation cutting rates and stiff penalties. He said many lines may go to receivership unless penalties change. He noted Seaboard has not covered expenses or interest for seven months and warned government receivership could become permanent.
The list shows Bradenton 600 Palmetto 600 Sarasota 360 Manatee 360 Parrish 200 part of statewide funding for county schools totaling 2120 dollars. The notice also mentions Pop Miller planning a trip to Cincinnati for the fall and returning to Manatee with his cheerful return.

Mrs Mannana and her children visited sister Clara Azlin, while M M Helm ships fine celery. Dunn’s Tampa meetings draw growing interest. A fire destroyed the old Bat begense in Palmetto this week.
