Combs Prepares Engine Installation For Pillage Plant Use
Chas. H. Combs, fresh from Pensacola, plans to install a fifteen horsepower gasoline engine in the naptha once owned by him and Jack C. Curry. The naptha was sold to the Lock Joint Pipe Company and, after engine installation, Combs will move the equipment to Boca Grande for cement piling work under the Lock Joint Pipe contract. A petition circulates urging Jos H Humphries and A J Pettigrew to introduce a bill shifting the quail season from November 1 to October 1.
