County Commissioners Hold Regular Session
The Board of County Commissioners met in regular monthly session with full membership. They reviewed Terra Ceia Island road petition and sent a committee to investigate conditions. A water flow was struck Monday evening at a Manatee Drilling Company well for Capt. C. H. Davis on his Manatee avenue property near the railroad. Manager W. D. Holcomb began drilling March 26 and by April 7 reached 877 feet, averaging over 37 feet daily, setting a new pace for the firm.
