New Pastor at Baptist Church in Silver City
Richard Malone and his wife Pam and son Rick arrive as Silver City Baptist Church's new pastors from Oklahoma. They study at Grace Bible Institute in Omaha and will lead a Sunday evening Dispensations study at 7:30 p.m. Overhead charts from Moody Press will aid the session. New Supplemental Income SSI Program Details
Mary L. Barton explains that supplementary security income benefits begin January 1 1974 for eligible individuals. Criteria include disabled children, people over 65 or disabled adults under 150 monthly, and certain nursing home residents with outside income between 22 and 45 dollars monthly. Apply at the Social Security office in the courthouse basement on the first and third Mondays from 9 am. those already receiving old age or disability aid will have their checks automatically transitioned to SSI by the Social Service Department.
