Why don't we act as though He were alive

Rev Wm Van Antwerp preaches on faith in a living God. A China missionary story is told of a pastor who, facing risk and low certainty, cried God is dead to urge his people to faith. The lesson echoes Jeremiah and Psalm 18:46 as the congregation is urged to live as if the Lord is alive.
