She married John Morgan Nov 26 1930 and they had one son Glen Franklin. Surviving are husband son her parents three sisters Dorothy Virginia Traci and one brother Clifford. Burial was at Jamison Mo.

Of the total 70057.20 went to schools plus 6194.45 as the editor’s portion of fines fees interest. Pioneer Oates Dies at 83 in Fremont County
Elijah Os. Oates, pioneer of Fremont County, died Friday at his country home south of Randolph. Born January 24, 1835 in Springfield, he moved with his family in a covered wagon to town and Fremont County in early life. He married Matilda Kocht in 1880 and had five children and several grandchildren. His long residence fostered many friendships among early settlers. funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the Shenandoah Congregational church, conducted by Rev. Perr Jacoby. Burial was in the Philadelphia cemetery.
