Passing of Good Woman Mrs C W Black

Funeral services were held March 1 at the Presbyterian church for Mrs. C. W. Black of Malvern Iowa. The Tabernacle entered its fifth week with strong nightly meetings and expanding women’s prayer gatherings. Mr. Pratt draws large adult audiences. A barn on the Everett Ames farm near Randolph burned yesterday morning. The fire source is unknown and Mr. Ames, working nearby, failed to save the structure. The barn held hay oats corn and implements with about 500 dollars in insurance on the building.
