Open House at Keystone School Hosts Former Students

An open house will be held at the old Keystone School house, home of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cole, southeast of town, Sunday June 18 from 1 p m until . Teachers and former pupils are invited along with others. The Martha Circle of the W will serve refreshments.

Local gathering noted in Emerson area report

Arneel and a former ally visited friends Tuesday. Mrs. Tom Brown and Mrs. Lor Brown hosted and attended a movie outing. Mrs. Brown’s mother stayed to help, and Mr. and Mrs. Ward Coy plus Ronald Smith family and Florence Cooper joined Memorial Day dinner.

Picnic Honors Miss Sue Grayson In Park

A Sunday park picnic honored Miss Sue Grayson RN who left Tuesday for her San Pedro California home. Attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Porter and others from multiple local households. A shower honoring Miss Mary Gillespie was held Sunday afternoon at Mrs. Lane Morse's home with 18 guests. Entertainment included Queen for a Day and a bride doll cake centered the table. Mary, soon to wed Jack Scott of Omaha, received many gifts reflecting a lavender and white theme.
