Strahan WSCS Holds Regular Meeting
Mrs Jared Woodfill hosted the WSCS February 1 at her home. Eleven members and three guests attended including Mrs Morris Woodfill of Glenwood and Mrs Bob Christen gen and Donna. Mrs Woodfill led devotions and meditations. Treasurer Mrs Joe Hathaway reported Wolfe sale 86.50 and Shook sale 47.50. Mrs Griffin outlined reading course requirements and Mrs Emmett Gipe led the lesson on holy Spirit and church, followed by discussion.

A large crowd gathered Sunday afternoon at the church for the funeral of Mrs. Charles Gipe. Relatives and friends traveled from Omaha Dallas Des Moines Bellevue Shenandoah Randolph and other towns to pay their respects.
