Beaver Season Opens with Beaver Musk and Muskrat Closures
The State Conservation Commission announced beaver trapping opens from noon December 18 to midnight February 28, statewide. Permits required for State Game Management Areas and Federal Refuges. mink and muskrat trapping forbidden after December 12. raccoon water traps also banned after that date. Be aware that skunk opossum and civet cat seasons stay open until February 28.
