NFO Reports 6 of 5 Processors in Marketing Plans

Six Mills countians joined a Mills county delegation led by Gordon Axtell at the national NFO convention in St. Louis on December 1 and 2. Axtell hailed it as the greatest farm convention with 10,000 delegates from 25 states and noted NFO bargaining boosted hog prices by 4 per cwt and cattle by 2 per cwt. Natl NFG President Oren Lee Staley said six of the nation's 15 largest meat processors work with NFO marketing.
