Kline Honored By Iowa Rainbow Group Dinner

Dr and Mrs John Kline were feted at Rolling Hills Inn Des Moines by Iowa Grand Assembly members and spouses to honor Mrs Kline for thirteen years as Supreme Deputy and Inspector in the Rainbow for Girls Her resignation took effect in late September her successor Mary Jane Holmes Cedar Falls appointed Tribute toasts and a gift were given Mrs Kline has served since 1951 at the state level and 1964 as Supreme representative of Rainbow in Glenwood No 99 since 1950.

McClures and Plummers Host Thanksgiving Fete

About 53 people attended a McClure and Plummer cooperative Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday evening November 26 at the Malvern Community building. Hosts were Wayne and Charles McClure Kenneth Allensworths of Malvern Robert Plummers of St Joseph Missouri and Jerry Plummers of Glenwood. Attendees included the Guy Plummers of Apache as part of the first annual event.

Klines Entertain OBS Personnel at Dinner

The Klines hosted a buffet dinner on Sunday November 20 for Past Grand Officers and spouses who served with Mrs. Kline in the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in 1953. IWCC Nursing Exams Set At Clarinda Center

The Peppy Pals and Hastings Junior Feeders met at St. John's Lutheran in Hastings on Nov. 10 with 17 Peppy Pals members present as enrollment cards were completed. They scheduled a Christmas gathering for Dec. 10 at Anne and Karla Leipold's, plus a Dec. 12 meeting at Sheila Howard's with gifts and a signing. Heikki Seppola gave slides and a talk.
