Slabs Bring History to Malvern New School Addition
Stone slabs destined for the Chantry school expansion in Malvern were delivered from Des Moines by Don Beer, owner of Betts & Beer Construction. Amateur archaeologists Hugo Leipold and Ralph Scott unearthed relics beneath cement steps, including a buggy axle and Model T parts with a 1923 license plate, hinting at early transport eras.
