Community gathering hosts April birthday celebration
Thursday evening Mr and Mrs Charles Lakin entertained visiting family from Colorado Springs and locals for April birthdays with a large decorative cake baked by Mrs Ellery Pickrel. Church Sale and Supper Nets 369 Dollars for Parish
The church supper in the dining room last Thursday raised 118.08 from a sale on the lawn adding 251.00 in cash donations to a total of 369.08 for the church treasury. Gratitude is extended to all helpers and to auctioneer Art Fritsher for strong support. Several local residents hosted guests at Sunday dinners including Mr. and Mrs. Lester Henderson and Mrs. Pearl Wyatt near Glenwood.
