Marriage of Tamra Jones and Robert L. Scott in Malvern

Tamra Jones and Robert L. Scott were wed in a 3 PM double ring ceremony on March 18 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Malvern, officiated by Pastor Harry Meyer. Attendants included Elaine Jones. best man Larry Morse and usher Rick Jones. A reception followed at the Malvern Community building with a formal buffet, peach and light blue decor, and a Country band.

Interesting Program At County Club Convention

Mills County Federated Women's Club Convention met March 29 at Malvern United Methodist Church with Hastings Club as host. Fifty two members and three guests registered. Rev. Cowell gave the invocation and Easter meditation. Brenda Kay spoke on homemaker duties from KMA. Memorial service for four deceased members was held. Door prizes awarded. school numbers performed. Nishna Valley Club Henderson invited the 1978 Convention.

Dance to Honor 30th Anniversary of Dale and wife

Friday celebration marks the 30th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Alexander at the Malvern Liberty Memorial building starting at 9 p.m. Sponsored by their children refreshments will be served and gifts are not requested.

Bell Heschong and Bell Wed in Peoria Presbyterian Church

Jill Ann Heschong and Donald Dean Bell, both of Peoria, Ill., were married in a five o'clock double ring candlelight service on Saturday, March 12, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She wore an ivory satin gown with Venise lace and a long illusion veil. The couple plans a brief honeymoon in St. Louis before settling in Peoria where the groom is a civil engineer.

The community notes Betty Luster and Frank Page from Denison and Bob Barton from Sioux City join local residents at Nishna Cottage. A workshop in Glenwood opens Wednesday, and residents anticipate the event. Monday featured the Christian church of Tabor presenting His Land, a Holy Land film. Faye Lowden has returned to Glenwood. Community dinner honors Dee Marie Roeder after baptism at Grace Baptist Red Oak with extended family present.
