April 26 marked Mrs. Anna Vohs birthday at Nishna Cottage. Easter events dominated the week with egg dyeing on Wednesday and a Pooh Corners visit on Thursday. Residents hid eggs in the lobby and enjoyed an inspirational readings program by Mrs. Laura Clay's sixth grade group. Mrs. Reid drove to Good Friday services at the Baptist church, enabling seven residents and aides to attend. On Friday four residents who could not go saw the geese.

Feted At Open House Saturday For Messingers Silver Anniversary

4-H News Silver Cloud Meets at Methodist Church
Silver Cloud 4-H club met March 11 at the Methodist church with 16 members present. Pledges were led by Chris Waller and Vernelle Hedlund. New business included a tour of Glenwood Flower Shop on April 7. Hostesses were Tina Wederquist and June Stogdill. Mrs Bent on spoke to junior girls in Food and Nutrition. Huntsman Rites Held in Nevada
Funeral services and burial were held Saturday in Las Vegas for Doyle Huntsman who died there after a long illness. Emerson native, he operated a hometown grocery with his brother before moving to Nevada.
