Galveston Rodeo Queen Contest Accepting Entries
Entries for the 1985 Galveston County Rodeo Queen contest are open through March 31. The event, part of the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo at Jack Brooks Park, is for girls 14 to 18 with sponsor paid entry and their own horse. Judges award 50 percent to horsemanship, 30 percent to beauty and personality, 20 percent to regalia. a trophy saddle and gifts accompany the winner.
