The 12 year old son of Mr and Mrs Hiram Waterhouse suffered a very serious accident last Friday evening near a mill run by his uncle Charles Waterhouse. His arms were caught in a narrow belt driving a wood lathe and his body was damaged.

He reviewed several unsurveyed parcels held by aquatters, including four sections held by J C Lothman and his brother. Unsurveyed land cannot be tiled until surveys are inspected and opened for entry, at which time aquatters may file after years of residence.
