Mr and Mrs A F Phillips and three children along with guests Lloyd Hunter and Peter Marnach became sick after eating a meal at a hotel last Thursday evening. Dr Long diagnosed ptomaine poisoning with the onset overnight and the group recovered without serious complications.

Lillie May Kirk 28 wife of George Kirk and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jones died at her mother’s home after a monthlong illness. The family mourns as she was unexpectedly stricken and was laid to rest in Gard Cemetery on Agency Plains last Monday.
