Fire at Rogers drug store causes heavy stock loss

A second floor truss room fire at Rogers drug store corner Mair and West streets caused extensive stock damage from water while the structure and stock losses were insured. Firemen from Box 47 quickly responded and confined the blaze to the truss room with the store reopening two hours after extinguishment.

Mrs Jane Donohoe Dies. Longtime Resident of Madison

The death notice records the passing of Mrs Jane Donohoe at the danvey lesne on West Main Street Schock. Born in Wesington Georgia she moved to Madison and lived as a devoted caregiver to her family. She was a member of St Michael's Church and is survived by two children Mrs bred Josehram and Mr Frank Donothow and two sisters Mrs Mary Murphy of Brookyn and Mrs Susan Brien of Louisville.
