Two Women Die in Louisville Tragedies

In Louisville, Catherine May Burt-Jett and Nealie Watts died by suicide in separate incidents. Coroner Carter orders further investigation into Watts case before verdict. Watts, 28, and Burt-Jett, 24, were connected to local households on East Le Street and West Jefferson Street respectively.

Death of Patrick Gavin at Dayton Soldiers Home

Mrs. Lute James received no telegram at noon today announcing the sudden death of Patrick Gavin at the Dayton Soldiers Home. He was in his sixty year. The funeral will be held Friday at one o'clock and the burial will be at the home. Gavin was a longtime resident of this city and left many friends who will regret his passing. He was a good soldier and citizen and industrious.
