A crowded arena watched Callahan edge Burns on fouls and nerve, but the decision went to Burns after a hard fought bout. Mack and Falcone wrestled in a wild six rounds with Falcone taking the nod, while Pearce dominated McKim in two minutes. Kane vs Swartsbaugh ended when Kane drew blood and quit.
The Blandinsville widow Myrtle Janes receives the bulk of an estate valued over 14 000 dollars from the late Earl Janes. The real estate is listed at 14 000 dollars with 300 dollars in personal property. Janes died March 12 this year. The will was dated May 17 1915 and witnessed by Guy Ineton, J E Huston and Ruth York.
Three weekend events listed at the county farm bureau office. The Program of Work Committee meets Friday at 10 AM, the Duroc Breeders Association gathers Friday at 1 39 PM with out of county breeders speaking, and the Farm Bureau Executive Committee meets Saturday at 10 AM. The Ford car belonging to two of T. A. Bland's sons from Emmet township was stolen from in front of the Baptist church Wednesday night while family members attended services. Police search for the missing vehicle says it was taken by joyriders and could be miles away near the state line.
