New York June 20 The New Ink state boxing commission ruled Johnny Kilbane of Ireland has vacated his title by declining the challenge of Winny Dundee of New York. Kilbane will no longer be recognized in New York as the champion. Birth notices: Mr and Mrs Fred Cox of Manh inform of a baby boy born Saturday night. Mr and Mrs Chas Pollock of Womb announce a daughter born Sunday.
A tall bay horse strayed from a barn on West Wheeler Street Saturday night. Finder please notify R. I. Empey at 529 Main. The horse was last seen three hours earlier. K. R. Empey received a call from Bardolph about the animal being taken.
Macomb area plants including Buckeye Pottery Western Stoneware and Sewerpipe operations state no coal shortages amid a nationwide strike. Carloads of coal arrived for Western Stoneware and daily shipments continue for others. A bank loan intends 11000 bushels to guard against future need, while a statewide count notes at least 600 strip mines active.
Rockford Illinois reports Camp Rotary a forty acre tract purchased by the Rotary Club for Rockford boys will be officially dedicated June 22 and opened the next day as a city summer camp. The club spent about $9,000 on purchase and remodeling of the grounds.

In Minneapolis six new police cars were added for precinct gun squads to patrol high crime districts, arguing dependable cars are as essential as weapons in fighting crime and speeding officers to pursue criminals.
Dublin June 20 The 5 p m tallies place pro treaty coalition 47 seats, coalition Republicans 26, Labor 10, Independent 12. In Dublin 72 285 electors backed pro treaty panel and independent candidates, 10 920 backed Republican nominee. Doyle’s wry remark about death echoes in the note.
