Investigators report no new leads in a December case about a wealthy man buried eight years in a private cemetery vault. A widow and authorities note a break in the vault’s copper lining and disturbed glass while tiger prints were found on the coffin window.
By Associated Press Indianapolis 5 Less than 1,000 who quit the Kansas mines at the call of Alexander Howatt protest against the industrial court law are idle currently. Information from James Sherwood Kansas chief inspector indicates 124 mines are in operation. President Lewis adds that 5,500 miners have returned to work according to other sources.
