At the Ameri can Legion post meeting in the Commercial Association rooms last night the Macomb unit voted to organize a Legion baseball team for the year with Dr. C P Jackson named as manager. A drum corps for the post was discussed with Bud Spahr reporting drum and bugle prices and samples to be sought. A committee on club rooms was not ready to report. The Holmes hospital inquiry noted pleased ex service men and will be sent to state headquarters. The Legion plans another meeting next Wednesday night.
Robert i Brethold son of a Wilmette contractor was found dead face down in a swamp on the McCoy farm near Romeoville. Officials from Foxport Joliet Chicago and Romeoville investigated the puzzling case. No marks on the body and no water in the lungs.

At a rehearing before the Public Utilities Commission Macomb seeks a 2.70 per 1000 cubic feet maximum rate with a 10 percent discount.
