Plans Near Completion For North Norfolk Fair
North Norfolk and District Agricultural Society prepares for its 84th exhibition with a three day gala on July 9 to 11. Workload grows for Central Manitoba Children’s Aid Society
Bruce T. Fraser, executive director, reported at the 37th annual meeting that the society faces rapid change and rising demand. Family counselling cases rose to 316 from 278, 1,103 children were served, and interviews jumped to 6,034. Foster care cases increased to 612 with 586 in care, adoptions 83 this year, and expenditures totaled 851,553 with 519,764 on child care.
