Local Gazette Tidbits and Tiny Tales From Town
Fred Clarke notes a toy fire engine made from an old beer can with Budweiser branding. Weather warms turning snow to water as curling games feel the heat and some bonspiel matches are cancelled. A farmer’s mule joke ends with a wise mule skinner teaching him attention. Budding crime notes lost wallets and a Ue-box, hockey reports from MacGregor and Austin, and local chatter about a crow sighting and a nose injury at a hockey game. The town teems with small news as playoffs near Erickson and spring hints appear.
