Cornelia Grommers Laid To Rest In Lynden
Mrs. Cornelia Grommers died Thursday at her daughter’s home and was laid to rest Saturday after services by Rev. H K Palma. Born in Holland in 1840 she married E L Grommers in 1860 who died in 1874. She immigrated to South Dakota in 1884 with five children and moved to Lynden in 1905. Survived by daughters G Dyksterhuis and M M Nieveen of Lynden and sons Bert of Chancellor SD and A Grommers of Lynden.
