Death of Mrs. Christine Axlund at Badger Delta

Blaine Triumphs Over Lynden In Debut Football Clash

Blaine High School defeated Lynden 28 to 0 in a season opener marked by Blaine’s heavier, experienced lineup. Lynden players Worthen Clarke Edwards and Barnhart stood out with grit, while Merl McGee starred for Blaine as the teams faced mismatched weights and two twenty minute halves.

Lynden School Notes Highlight Interclass Activities

Lynden school reports activities in H S basketball challenge between girls of Lynden and Blaine, grade banners won by 3rd grade, and attendance records across grades. A first H S try-out on Direct Legislation involved 16 students with plans for short speeches. 7th grade debated King Philip war with the negative winning. Attendance percents by grade range from 93.87 to 100 percent with a few tardies.
