Lynden Pays Final Tribute To Mrs Shagren Pioneer
Lynden mourns the passing of Mrs Hannah Erickson Shagren aged 78 years and five months after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at Knapp's parlors with Rev W O Benadom officiating, burial amid wreaths. She was born February 19 1841 in Sallrup Skani Sweden, married August 15 1883 in Eslof Sweden, and emigrated to Lynden with husband to farm until 1901. She leaves husband Henry Shagren adopted son and two brothers in Sweden plus a Lynden nephew Edward Norlin.
