Crowded First Baptist Church Dedicates New Facility
Large crowds filled the First Baptist Church for a Sunday dedication with Dr. Watson of Seattle delivering sermons on The Fact of the Atonement and Working With God. Rev. Feldth of Bellingham and Rev. Charles Baker spoke, roses and lilies were donated, and about $100 was offered plus plans to raise $300 for heating.

City Water Department Prepares for Sprinkling Season
The city water department is ready for the heavy sprinkling season with two new motors installed this week. A 10 horse power motor was installed in the river plant and a 25 horse power motor at the pumping station to furnish auxiliary power in an emergency.
