Lynden will host a rare screening of the million dollar feature Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse on Friday February 3. Liberty manager Jack Kauffman arranged the production, with a three hour show and a vast crew. 12 000 feet of film used from 500 000 feet shot over one year.

Palmer Funeral Draws Large Crowd for Maud Wascher Palmer
Funeral services were held at Knapps Parlors for Maud Wascher Palmer who died at home after a brief illness. Born in Nooksack on March 3 1883 she was 38 years 10 months and 16 days old. She married Archie Palmer September 22 1900 and leaves six children, two sisters, two brothers and many floral tributes. Reverend E O Grimes conducted the service with a large gathering in attendance.
