Ladies' Aid Plans Its Winter Work in Scottville

In Scottville on a cold October afternoon the Methodist Episcopal Ladies' Aid met with a firelit parlor scene. They voted to add 200 to their church pledge, reducing the total to 1250 left on a 5000 pledge over three years. They scheduled a December 12 Christmas sale and an auction rummage event with committees named. Miss Bessie McElroy hosted a Halloween party with games and high and low scores, and reports covered school and community events, including seventh and sixth grade Halloween activities, football fund boosting, and local visits and travels among residents and families.
